I've casually been following the Collin County trial of this guy who was accused of hiring a hit man to kill his wife. The hired gun, allegedly feeling pangs of guilt, didn't go through with the hit but instead told the wife about the plan. But the crazy part was that the wife testified at trial that she supported her husband and didn't believe he wanted her dead. Which, by the way, is exactly the way I'd want my wife to act if I planned her death. Which I'm not. Because I'm not married. And I wouldn't think about it even if I was. Really.Anyway, the Collin County jury just slapped him with 30 years in prison. And that's for a failed murder for hire.

I don't understand why people do that.
When I need to kill someone, I save the money and do it myself.
I guess its good that Bekis trail wasnt in Collin County....
Hey catdaddy, I missed you!
No, He was SLAPPED with 2 30 year sentences.
He needs to pick a better place to have a trial....
My brutha callls out for JUSTICE! Or he would probably take a good old fashioned do-over.
It's obvious you've never been married...
If abortion is a right and just a matter of choice, why does everyone get so excited when a woman dies or has her life threatened while pregnant charging whoever is responsible for two crimes?
Great question, 3:54...it's called double-standard, hypocricy and flat out ridiculous!!! Our justice system seems to have the right idea, at least!
Oh 3:54...why, why, why do you have to go there. Seriously.
OK...so how come those men who beat their wives (who says that isn't attempted murder?) or who put guns to their heads with the intent to pull the trigger, but then "chicken" and don't....how come those guys don't get even a PART of this kind of sentence?
