The Campaign For DA

No Way

I was thumbing through the Fort Worth Weekly and saw an ad for Nokia Theater in Grand Praire. I've always wanted to go there so I glanced at the upcoming acts to see if anything interested me. (R.E.M. was there a couple of years ago.)

So what do I see? Ed McMahon. You can pay money - real money - to hear Ed McMahon talk about the dead Johnny Carson.

Tell me that's a very short line at the ticket office for that one.

I think this would be interesting. The golden age on T.V. as told by a person who lived it on one of the most popular shows on television at the time. Better then paying to see B.C.

Have you been listening to Stern lately? They've been using Ed's audio book again, cut up to make it sound like he's saying the most horrible and disgusting things -- it's hilarious. I don't know what's funnier -- the audio book, or Takei laughing his ass off at it.
