Random Friday Morning Thoughts

That was a wild play. Watch it here

  • I honestly never thought I would see this image.  And I'm not sure I remember a restitution figure of that amount in a case like this.

    • State Rep. Jeff Leach just gives me the creeps.  Here he is with Robert Morris' accuser in a post he made yesterday.

  • A major fire destroyed the Corsicana House of Refuge, a domestic violence shelter. "The fire is still being investigated, but the executive director of the house believes it started in the kitchen."

  • Update from Manchester, England after yesterday's attack:

  • There is not any headline that Ken Paxton won't seek, and that's all he uses the office of AG for. Now he's picking on little Whitesboro.

  • Two attorneys who practice in Wise County got a "not guilty" verdict in Tarrant County this week.

  • Nothing to see here. Just Trump's personal friend, private attorney, and now U.S. Attorney hired  to prosecute his enemies just walking into the White House yesterday.

  • Chicago ICE update.

  • The ultimatum, which would control speech and curriculum, was sent to nine universities including the University of Texas.

  • Another weird video from the President of the United States was posted overnight.

    • Oh, and he did this as well.

  • Let's check in on Fox News.  Doesn't seem suspect at all.

  • The Business Second™.

  • Random stuff from Fort Worth Court of Appeals I saw.
    Background from 2022.
His letter to the Court of Appeals.

  • Lauren Whitener Clock: 6 years and 91 days.
