Random Taunting Flashback

TCU fan taunts Baylor players after the Frog beat down of the Bears in September.  Gets a little intense.

If I'm Baylor's head coach, I know what I'm showing before the rematch this Fall. Baylor will still probably get killed, but I'm firing that video up nevertheless.

You think that was bad? You've obviously never been a visiting fan at a Texas Tech game.

"Good job Big XII" and "Enjoy the bus ride" are kitten kisses compared to what you get from those classless pigs. I thought I was gonna get murdered on Memorial Circle after the game a few years ago when I went up there for that 75 to whatever it was hammering that TCU got. I was threatened by a guy with a kid on his shoulders. They were throwing garbage at me by the 3rd quarter and I was on the Tech alumni side.

Bunch of freaking animals.

Wait. I forgot my wife is a Tech grad. Never mind.

P.S. I don't condone the actions of that guy in the video. I mean it's not the players' fault that Ann Richards used her political clout to get Baylor in to the Big XII and now they're perpetual conference cellar dwellers and the laughing stock of Texas football (along with UT). Only BYU and Utah fans deserve that kind of treatment from the Frog Faithful.

Man. I never get tired of looking at last year's final football polls.

GO FROGS!

Barry, Absolutely no call for that BS. None. And I am a huge TCU fan. I have always believed a team and it's fanbase need to win with even more humility that they lose with.

Fat guy in a purple shirt trash talking a world class athlete, way to handle success with class TCU.

Those TCU fans had no right to wear the tshirts! They're not alumni.

But they were a classless pr#cks.

Typical arrogant SOB TCU fan, they finally get somewhere and they think there the Gods.

Great sporstsmanship from two Christian schools. If that's the way Baptists act, I'd hate to see the Methodists, the Catholics or the Mormons.

Jarhead, you are right about Tech fans, they blow.

Jarhead, I dong believe one word of what you say about the Tech TCU game, where TCU lead 21-0, and ultimately lost 70-35.
I was there with TCU fans. We were in and around memorial circle before and after the game.
No different than when jealous aggie fans say Tech PR UT fans throw batteries. Yet, nobody has ever filed a complaint or received treaent for a laceration resulting from a battery or other thrown objects.
I for one also think every fanbase has a few jerks like the ones in the video clip. I've had good experiences at pretty much every college stadium I've been to, and I've been jeered a little, but you have to leave it at that.
Nobody threw trash at you. You just lost cred.

10:03 you're a moron.

That fan behavior was absolutely uncalled for, but TCU is very very mild in my experience.

Every team has its jerk fans.

In my humble opinion, fans should talk sh** like that to other fans, not players. Players are off-limits. (They get out there and play their hearts out, win or lose, and don't need crap from fans. They will get enough from their coaches come Monday.) Really classy. What a douchebag. He needs to get a life. I don't fault the Baylor coach going nuts; that was completely justified.

douchebag forgets that a lot of college athletes go on to the pros and play with kids they used to play against in college, or heck, even in high school. They will get past their old rivalry, and bond as a team. Not saying they forget their roots, but will bond as a team, because that's what athletes do. Fans, such as douchebag, (who probably has never touched a football, basketball or participated in any sports), need to take it down a notch.
It has also been demonstrated that rivalries can be put aside when tragedies strike, or something of the sort. I will NEVER forget the sight of seeing the TU's band play my beloved Aggie War Hymm while marching out onto Kyle Field after bonfire collapsed, or the Breckenridge football team, their cheerleaders and fans wearing t-shirts, giving roses, and supporting Bridgeport after the terrible tragedy of the awning collapsing on Leslie.

You give all of us fans a bad name jerk.

I had cred? Wow.

Cred on this blog is about as valuable as a piece of crap in my palm... So if I lost it then I'm much better off than when I started. Thanks for that.

Who cares?

The players are not kids...they are all grown men. They need to learn how to handle some smack-talkin'.

At what point do we stop "protecting" them?

There always will be a few jerks at each school. Honestly, TCU is not bad at all in my opinion. Wait till you attend a UT - OU game...

The best comeback was from the Baylor (asst coach?) wearing the white shirt who pointed out the obnoxious, "cocky assed bitch" fan was a "t-shirt guy" who paid to watch the game while the players were actually good enough to be playing the game.

The price of a ticket does not give a fan the right to talk trash to the players. From what I have seen, of most sports fans, they could not successfully complete a single workout much less play the game of the players they are mocking.

ALL of those players are kids, they are someone's kid. I applaud the coaches standing up to BULLYS. Fans, who mock players, should be escorted from the stands for unsportsmanlike conduct/being douche bags.
