The key line in this rant is "Joe Paterno is on his death bed" and "someone needs to find him a casket."
For those not familiar with Paterno, he's the head coach of Penn State, the Aggies' opponent tonight. He's also 81 years old.
I read today in the Morning News that the yell leader had been "sent home" by A&M officials. They were not pleased.
Paterno, when asked about the comments, was pretty good natured: "Some young guy went up there, trying to be funny. Maybe he's accurate, I don't know."

OMG....the Aggies were so mad at the "classless clowns" of Texas Tech for the "Vick'em" shirts....once again prove they are the classless ones!
(Actually all college kids can be classless....the Aggies just are hypocritical about it!)
Then at the game there's a youtube of an older aggie fan eating his booger......plus the J-train crying on the sidelines....they're all adding fuel to the "making fun of aggies' fire"!!!!
Seriously, have we become so overly sensitive that every editorial comment made my anyone, no matter how insignificant or irrelevant that person might be, becomes some kind of major media issue? I seriously believe that the media outlets love to create controversy instead of just reporting on it. Does Coach Paterno not realize that he a very old man? When I heard about this I knew it must have been a slow day for the media. Come on people.
"...overly sensitive...", "...way out of proportion...", are you kidding? This was not some aggy fan or random drunk college student, this was a sanctioned representative of Texas A&M University. A guy to whom the University gave a microphone, provided his uniform, paid for his trip, paid for his hotel, etc. The corp (the quasi-military organization that is the focus of all things aggy for those of you who may not be familiar), especially the yell leaders, regularly preach about the high standards of aggys and how they show proper respect, etc. Yet, here we have that guy reference the death of one of the most beloved coaches in college football history. Classy!

He's classy because he is a conservative. A liberal weenie would be offended and demaned he be expelled.

Kudos to the aggy admin for sending him home.
The Faggies are so gay. Earp
Classy does not necessarily mean conservative. Look at you.
Kudos to anon 8:43 for not knowing how to spell "aggie"
*YiKeS*
