Haven't seen anything in the paper about it, but it looks like we had a high speed chase on Friday night starting close to Bridgeport and ending when the guy crashed into the post office in downtown Paradise. DWI arrest followed.

He forgot to do change of address and was afraid Santa would not find him.
I know someone who works for the P-dise post office. Apparently the guy went up there yesterday to see how much he needed to pay for the damages . . . Nothing like a little drinky-drink and cop chase around the holidays !!
Sounds like a cover-up to me. Who was this guy? Apparently he must have some money to be able to pay for the damages! Maybe his money bought the newspapers silence.
4:40 WAS CORRECT IT WAS NOT IN DECATUR SO IT DOES NOT MATTER. ITS KINDA LIKE THE JACKIE MURPHREE STORY THAT KEEPS TURNING UP IN THE MESS, YOU DONT HEAR ABOUT THE FAMILY FROM CHICO THAT WAS KILLED BY A DRUNK DRIVER AND WE WONT HEAR ABOUT THE BELL FAMILY WHO LOST 2 FAMILY MEMBERS ON CHRISTMAS EVE BUT WE ARE SURE HEARING ABOUT HOW A PERSON IN A COMA GOT TO COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, IN DECATUR IT WHO YOU KNOW NOT WHAT HAPPENS I TRIED TO GET AN ARTICLE IN THE MESS ABOUT A LOCAL COMMUNITY THEY WOULD NOT RETURN MY CALLS.
1:51 - - I hope you have blessings this New Year, because you obviously need them to improve your idiotic sense of "fairness" as is evidenced by your remarks here. I am thankful that I have NO friends like you!
Seems DWI offenders in Wise Co don't always have to answer for their offense. It's been several months for one offender I know, and not ONE thing has been done yet to make him/her "pay" for it. Justice in Wise Co? Have to wait for it, I guess.......sometimes years?

Another JERK in the bag! Probably wasn't his first offense. He may get off because he had a difficult childhood.

I had a difficult childhood-why don't I get off more often?
You could get off more often if you took matters into your own hand.
2:17 I think you're the only one who can answer why you don't "get off" more often?
To Barry...
A new client?

Interesting that it wasn't front page news in the Messenger. He wasn't from Decatur, I guess.

The poor sap just wanted to mail himself to Red River Hospital to dry out.
Better there than here where we have to pay for it.
