Actually Came Across This Last Night

It was horrible looking. (See Update or this ST story.) And the fact that it was on Christmas Eve makes it even worse (if that's possible.)

That left hand turn off of Business 287 to go south on 287 is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous places in the county.

Sad, Sad, Sad! How do you make a situation like this better?? Christmas will never be a happy time for the survivors OR the deceased's extended relatives either. I lost my dad July 4th, 1985 and I have never enjoyed it since. There's just something about losing a loved one on a special day that will just suck the life right out of you whenever that holiday comes around again, year after year!!

We saw the police/fire lights in the distance as we cam home from our own family gathering ~ right after we drove through the intersection at Bonds Ranch and whatever that road is where the family was killed about a month ago. Terrible, tragic stuff.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those in both vehicles involved.

And of course, I have a question...

Bowie has entrance and exit ramps to Business 287 for their town. Alvord has entrance and exit ramps for Business 287 for their town.

Decatur? Bigger and busier than both, yet has much worse access to 287 throughout the town.

Remember, your government works for you... remind them.

That intersection gives access to Carson Elementary School from 287. Which by the way is where those children attended/attend school. It is a dangerous intersection. I avoid it.

Donations will be taken for the family at Carson Elementary School between 12pm and 3pm tomorrow. The other 2 children are in critical condition and need prayers.

God I pray that You would quit doing pointless destructive things to young children so we wouldn't have to pray so much for them to recover from their undeserved injuries. amen

Is that the same intersection where Al and Becky Jacobs were killed several years ago?

God I pray you use this tragic accident to bring a community together.
