What a crazy, horrible story. A 67 year old woman in North Richland Hills answers her door last night and is shot dead. And then the guy flees. That's a picture of the home above which doesn't look to be situated in the middle of a crime ridden neighborhood.

I'll bet it's a case of mistaken identity. Poor lady.
I'll make one prediction related to this awful event and if I'm wrong I'll never make another or even assume anything bad about anybody ever again. The murderer is as black as the night he skulked off into
Senseless. We live in a scary world.
Is it a question of "who done it" or who wanted it done? If the door bell rings at night I am going to the door, not my wife or my children. It's just a thought. You don't just drive down Davis Blvd. and find this neighborhood. You do have to look for it or know where you are going. I hope I am wrong but I do find it unusual.
I smell HITMAN!! There are very few truly random crimes, and I'm betting this wasn't one of them.
I'm going to guess that the husband had something to do with it because it just doesn't add up~~
I wonder if Mr. Tough Talker(anonymous) from the Omaha mall shooting post is going to weigh in on this one... of course he will. Small minds can't resist a fight!
He mentioned that stuff like this happens "soooooooo often..."
Oh wait. It does.
This person didnt try to take valuables? Why would someone knock on the door shoot an old lady and just run off? It sounds to me like the husband may have been looking for a way out of his marriage. I agree - sounds like hit man to me!!!
I also bet $5,000 on the hit man scenerio. What a dumbass.....
Could this be a gang initiation stunt? No logic in it if the hitman angle doesn't pan out.
I'll bet she cut someone off on the highway and they followed her home. Seriously.
