Politics Of Dancing
Just saw a flyer that Sheriff David Walker has announced his candidacy for re-election. He will be giving a Chippendale's-like routine at a reception at the Decatur Civic Center on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. (OK, half of that last sentence is fake.)
In other news, Steve Stanford has become interim Chief of Police in Bridgeport because the President thought there were weapons of destruction in Iraq. (And I'm not making that up.)

Walker will never leave because he loves the attention he gets. He's scared to leave home.

I love the liberal mindset. I read the story about him leaving to help rebuild cities in Iraq and a liberal weenie reads the same story and conjures up something about Bush lied.
Oh yeh, Walker was shaking his ass at the Devon Christmas party last Saturday . . . I saw him with my own eyes, but I have to say baby got back . . . Just sayin!
Perhaps it was Iraq's missile attacks on Israel not so long ago that led us to think they might have some destructive weapons.

Anon 6:39 apparently you can't read. I posted "Singleton to retire in a year and Stanford becomes new chief for a short time". Meaning when the city adminstrator comes back, Singleton will retire because he is vested in the city and Stanford will be named Chief pending a job search for a new one.
Hey Barry, don't know you, but love 2 read your blog. At least u try 2 get people involved. I recently left Decatur after living there for 4 years coming from living in Bowie a lifetime but now living in Euless. (Closer to the job) Decatur shld b proud of its town, u finally have forward thinking leaders(some), unlike Bowie. U have 2 go forward and not look 2 the past....
Now that Walker is officially out of Phil Ryan's pocket and has more than established his own credibilily, he's got my vote.
And I'm not even a Republican.
