Can I Do At Least One College Football Post?

The Aggies had to go to three overtimes to finally defeat Fresno State 47-45 (heck of a game.) But that angst you hear is coming from fans of TCU and The Evil Empire whose game was pre-empted for an incredible 68 minutes (with 12:40 left in the 2nd quarter) on FSN due to the prolonged Agriculturist victory.

At least on Dish, the game was carried on 446 until 416 finished the Aggie game. FSN is good at carrying both on other channels.

I love your college football posts.....Keep 'em coming!

How about a post about your adopted team: Oklahoma 51-Miami 13

I expect the purple headed horny toads wish the Aggies would've played a few more hours to pre-empt the showing of that butt whooping they just took.

Well, I wish I had known that. Next time I'll know to look. Thanks for the tip.
GO HORNS.

Sad for the Frogs--they missed the only part of the game that was good for them.

That game had to be a huge letdown.

NO. That means n o period.

I waited on 416 for the A&M game to get done. I didn't see any scroll or other information saying TCU was on 446. Shucks!

don't you think that picture is getting a little overused-- (kinda like someone else i know)

Have any of you actually ever been to Kyle Field? Yesterday it was 104 degrees in the stands and the heat index on the field was 140 degrees, yes, 140- go look it up.
The three overtimes were a result of it being so friggin hot in college station yesterday and the guys were exhausted.

saw-e-ag, no, it's not used too often. It won't be used too often until the rest of the aggy nation puts a stop to their psuedo-army's silliness. When that happens the rest of us will stop making fun of it.

I have been to Kyle Field, several times. I admit that it is a great football atmosphere. It may have been hot, but the overtime wasn't because of the heat. The overtime resulted because the aggys blew a big first half lead and Bucky isn't too good with the forward pass.

12:58 - So was Fresno State not hot & exhausted too?

Stephen McGee is an awesome quarterback. We have a strong rushing offense, J-Train, so McGee takes advantage of it. He may not throw hail mary's and take a lot of chances, but he does play safe. He keeps us out of trouble.

saw-e-ag, when you say "keeps us out of trouble", are you referring to a three overtime squeeker against an average WAC team at your home?

I'm glad you consider 13-24 for a whopping 79 yards as "awesome". I suggest you put the maroon crack-pipe down.

A&M should have lost that game. If the refs hadn't broke the rules and reviewed a play twice, the Bulldogs scored and everyone would still be in shock.
