Today's Headline: President Bush will become the first sitting president to address a graduating class at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Off the top of my head, I have no idea who the "merchant marines" are or what they do.

They help the navy with commercial stuff, such as carrying oil, etc.
Doubt if Bush knows what it is either.
