Here We Go Again

As of this morning (according to a divided Supreme Court), if you are on parole you can be searched by the police for no reason at all.

Nor surprisingly, recent appointees Alito and Roberts were in the majority.

I'm trying to find out when the Fourth Amendment was repealed.

Well Barry, I have to admit that this sounds like a pretty good idea to me. As you well know, the recidivism rate for parolee's is very high!!

NOT a good idea. If it starts here, where will it end up?

The Fourth Amendment was repealed right after the final count in Florida a few years back ...

It is amazing how much power the police are allowed and how much illegal shit they get away with while supposedly doing their job.

Why is a Divided Supreme Court when the court has more conservatives than liberals? But when there are a majority of liberals, it was just the Supreme Court.

i thought you lost all kinds of rights (voting, owning a gun, having illegal drug etc.) when you were convicted of a crime, this is kinda like thinking non-citizen are protected by our constitution isnt it?

"For no reason at all" ????

How about being on parole?

I avoid being on parole by not committing crimes. Funny, but police seem to leave me alone. Imagine that.
