Random Tuesday Morning Thoughts

Like most things these days, there was video.

  • Lake Bridgeport shooting update

  • The 27 year old man was being transferred back to jail after a court appearance in downtown Fort Worth about 11:45 a.m. when he ran, barefoot, in the 4600 block of Mark IV Parkway, officials with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

  • That's a huge escalation to this story.

  • New this morning. "The cybercrime division of the Paris prosecutor’s office is investigating X in relation to seven accusations, including complicity in distributing images of a child of pornographic nature, denial of crimes against humanity and fraudulent extraction of data."

  • This is a five alarm fire. Audio. It's over.

    • And this comes on the heels of the federal government seizing ballots in Fulton County, Georgia last week. This was just a test run to normalize what is coming in November. And we had an update on that story yesterday showing how Trump is orchestrating it all:

  • Speaking of Tulsi Gabbard: "A cloak-and-dagger mystery reminiscent of a John le Carré novel is swirling around the complaint, which is said to be locked in a safe. Disclosure of its contents could cause 'grave damage to national security,' one official said. It also implicates another federal agency beyond Gabbard’s, and raises potential claims of executive privilege that may involve the White House, officials said."  Story.

  • Katy, TX: The defendant was 22 years old and probation eligible, and was sentenced to 4 years in prison. The accident occurred at 6:45 a.m.

  • Former Tarrant County judge James Wilson died early last month after a heart attack. (I had heard about it back then but couldn't get it confirmed online.)  His memorial service was last Saturday.

  • “I’m not ripping it down. I’ll be using the steel. So we’re using the structure.” - Trump's plans for the Kennedy Center
