One Of The Craziest Things You'll Ever See

I saw the abbreviated version of this video a couple of days ago where it ended with the guy motionless on the ground. I didn't post it because I was sure he was dead. But this one was a longer video which shows the guy sitting up.

Longtime readers know I'm fascinated with the "Butterfly Effect". This one is a perfect example. Think of all the millions of events that had to occur before this in order for his head to be in the direct line of a runaway tire at that very split second in time.

Been a long time since I yelled "DOH" at the office.

Looks like it's the spare from that minivan. By my count, he used up eight of his lives on that one.

Yeah, um...the Butterfly Effect is otherwise known as "stuff happens".
When an unfortunate incident like this occurs, more inventive language is in order.

Mr Fernandes was taken to hospital with a fractured chest and a fractured skull but was now stable and 'feeling much better'.

That's horrible and random.

Things like this are why I wear a helmet and protective padding everywhere I do.

You failed to mention how after the deed was done the tire came back to "showboat" for the camera.

He would have passed the NFL concussion protocol!

He's tired.

It's not the spare tire from the mini van...there would be no force acting upon it to cause it to roll faster than the van itself. Even if it hit the ground and picked up some rotation, it would not be that intense. The tire appears like magic in the middle of the screen. There is no vehicle it can be attributed to.

i think 11:27 meant to say hes got "tired head"

So the first thing the first bystander does is try to roll him over/pick him up? Lucky he didn't end up a quad.

Just for the record people, leave the victim laying as found unless they can't breathe or are bleeding out. No need to compound the problem by paralyzing someone by moving them and severing the spinal cord in the event there's a spinal column break.

Bleeding profusely, yet no blood on back of shirt after sitting up or rolling around in it. Seems to have been cleaned up. So odd.

Doesn't look like he's having a very GOODYEAR!

In some countries, the punishment for crime is to be stoned to death. You have to do something really bad to be FIRESTONE’d.

I love how that first guy on the scene runs to save the tire and roll it back.

ewww, that cracka leaking....

The spare is dirty, like one that is from under a car or truck, and that mini van takes a weird hop. So if the tire came loose, dragged the ground and the momentum of the car caused it to vault forward, that's pretty much the only way this whole thing could have happened.

That tire came from the sky and it looked like a blow out...probably an overpass above there area.
