My favorite screenshot from Fox 4 News last night as these folks argue with an African-American county commissioner about whether the Confederate Flag should be flown. (The guy whose face is partially blocked was talking loudly and pointing his finger.)
They look like an open-minded and compassionate bunch. I wonder who they voted for in the presidential election?

The confederate flag should not be displayed at any court/city/county building.
However, because of the symbolism of the flag and its historical relevance, if a city/county/state removes it from their buildings then they must be held responsible to create a memorial or something equivalent to that so they do not disrespect history.
The people have a right to be outraged because of their attachments to the flag, but it is misdirected. While the commissioner and officials should of had a drawn plan to show reverence to the symbol of the South. Instead of being shortsighted on their community's needs.
Also, the South had risen again, but they showed up late, like every self respecting southern would, and missed the train.

Having ten billion dollars in property laid to waste and two-fifths and of its livestock destroyed pretty much goes a long way to proving the South had their asses handed to them. When another country takes you over and you become part of that country, then you lose the right to fly your flag.....period. No discussion. That's how war works. The CSA does not exist anymore. I am a Libertarian and have been for 20 years. Trust me, Libertarians do not support the government endorsing the Confederate rebels who attempted and failed to divide and destroy the US.
