If you have one or more of those double-jeopardy-double-punishment* surcharges assessed by DPS before December 31, 2008, your last chance to get rid of them for pennies on the dollar is midnight. That includes surcharges for no insurance, no driver's license, DWI, etc.

Yeah go, you dang dead beats. Some people paid the full freaking price for those charges!!
I'm pretty sure if you were assessed a surcharge you are guilty or you would have fought it. Pay the surcharge. You broke the law period!

So, if you are current on your surcharge payment, it still costs you up to $3000.00 or so.

Pay up or super cop Tom Bishop will come in full SWAT gear and haul your butt to jail. Or you can try and hold out untill next election and hope Mr. Hudson wins and he comes and gets you or calls you and has you to just come in.

1:38 Go bone a chicken. Tom is doing a good job protecting citizens and hes very nice to those he arrest. Hudson worked his own business on our dime. You had to wait for him to close his station before he could help you. Hudson is a very nice man also but not available 24/7.
Hudson is sure better than 2:29, and a lot cheaper on taxpayers pocketbook.

no one sets the hours, so therefor it is not a 9-5 possition, DH got the job done and way better than you do it.
Of course there will be no partial refund for folks who get tickets but at least act in a responsible way by paying in a full and timely manner.
One way to avoid these surcharges is to not get tickets. A simple, yet apparently incomprehensible concept.

CONSTABLE,position should b done away with. I F THEY CANT get rid of them then dont fund them. These positions cost over a quater million a year and we dont need them. I hope the voters will vote out any comish who funds anything for these constables'
