Well That Was Embarrassing

What a failed season. That team read their own press clippings from day one. Edit: But buried in that mess, was a crazy Tony Romo scramble, throw back to Jason Whitten, and then a Whitten throw to Terrell Owens. Whitten said on the post game show that it wasn't designed -- he just saw Owens open and threw it. Edit: Last playoff win was on Dec. 28, 1996.

When did Loren Michaels of Saturday Night Live buy the Eagles?
Hey Jerry excuses are like a**holes everybody has one.

You could have put the mothers of every Cowboy on the line and they still would've lost...they play like nothing matters to them...like they'd rather be doing something else yet still collect a check.

That anybody even gives a rat's ass is a complete mystery to me.

The boys held on to the football like pacman holds on to dollar bills and bullets at a strip joint. Great hire Jerry.

Just think, next year there will be room for over 90,000 people to see the 'boys suck live and in person at jerryworld.

How 'bout them losers!

I told you that they would be going to the SuperBowl. They have seats on the 20 yard line.

Romo overrules coach Wade on a fourth down call.....
the inmates are running the show. (apologies to Pacman)

Doesn't matter. Still will be tens of thousands of people that give a big portion of their disposable and discretionary income to the team. I bet the average fan would feel different about it if instead of paying for tickets with a credit card to the "Dallas Cowboys" etc. the fan was asked to reach into their pocket after today's game and send five hundred dollars in cash to Terrell Owens address, or one of the backup linebackers, or whomever. As long as people pay through the nose, you'll continue to get sports millionaires who get paid win or lose. And it's not them to blame. It's "us" as in the general public.

"Anybody can coach this team and take them to the Super Bowl, even Barry Switzer!" - Jerry Jones

Might want to rethink that, Jerr.

You make an excellent point which is why ALL professional athletes should be paid like golfers and tennis players and ONLY make money when they WIN. What do you bet ONLY paying winners would change the level of enthusiasm of players in football, soccer, basketball, hockey and baseball?

Morgan, you are a good sports reporter, but boy your photo sure looks mean and angry.

Is there a message here?

How's the dispute with Dairy Queen coming along?

The Miami Dolphins are better than the Dallas Cowboys. How great is that?

Wish I had put money of the Dolphins to make the playoffs last time I was in Vegas.

I didn't like Parcells but in 2 years he rebuilt that team and hired a Cowboys coach and they go from 1-15 to winning their division. The Cowboys on the other hand, had that genius Jerry Jones out buying all the prison rejects and over-priced has-beens and built another loser. When are Cowboy fans going to say enough of J. Jones as GM and chief meddler? The Cowboy's problems start and end with Jones and the example he sets. Remember: no playoff wins in 12 years (only Detroit has a longer failure record).

So those three superbowl wins and an NFC Champ appearance happened without Jerry?

SOOOOO... tired of hear that Jerry is the root of all evil. When do we start holding players accountable? You know.. those guys who actually play the game on the field?
