I watched the documentary Grizzly Man this weekend. It was about the the life and events of Timothy Treadwell, a 40+ year old man who lived for thirteen summers in Alaska among grizzly bears.
He videotaped about 100 hours of his trips until he was eaten by one of the bears.
The guy was a freak but it was pretty darn good. He spent most of the time talking to himself, the bears, and foxes. Very odd.
(The morbidly curious viewer - like me - will be disappointed to learn there is an audio of the final deadly attack that the documentary refused to include.)
