Charlie Sheen did an interview with NBC this morning (he wants his salary raised from $2 million to $3 million per episode for Two and a Half Men) as well as one with ABC.
But based upon the way the Internets are blowing up, he's doing an interview right now with TMZ which is uncensored. There has to be some gold coming our way. Edit: They've posted it. Edit #2: Compilation of best quotes here.
And, as a self-proclaimed TV critic, I think Two and a Half Men is funny, but not funny enough to record.

Charlie Sheen's longtime publicist Stan Rosenfield resigned today after the actor continued to rant about the show "Two and a Half Men" in a series of interviews.
"I have worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much," Rosenfield said in an email to Fox News.
"However, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned," he added.
On a related note, Alan Harper will be charged for back rent.

This guy is exploding right before our eyes. He is going over the edge and can't even see it. I am disgusted with his rants and will no longer watch his show. It was not that funny to begin with. He had no trouble playing himself on the show. Just another arrogant two bit actor that thinks we really care about him.

i think charlie sheen must have drank a case of pickle juice before he took that drug test cuz he is really wired in his interviews. i love 2 and a half men but i will probably quit watching it charlie is just too weird.

I guess the fictional Charlie Harper (who is a saint compared to Charlie Sheen in real life) won't be on Two and A Half Men anymore.....time to bring in (1) Cousins Coy and Vance or (2) Charlie's best friend Grady to fill the void.
Agree with 3:31. The show can replace him with any number of failing drunk actors and still succeed. That would be a great contest, "Who should replace him on the show?"

Funny how fictional life portrays real life (or in this case, I guess it's very sad). And to think he was giving Lindsey Lohan advise a few days ago.

I have always thought the character Charlie Sheen portrays on Two and a Half Men was a sanitized version of Sheen's real life and personality.
If you look past Sheen's narcissistic crazy-talk he makes some sense. Sheen has been a hard drinking, cocaine snorting/crack smoking, porn-whore loving party animal for the past 25 years and was, for several years, the highest paid television actor in the history of EVER. Living that type of lifestyle and being able to keep it together to be able to attain the type of fame and financial success is something of a super-human feat. As for Sheen's crazy hate for Chuck Lorre, think about it, Lorre basically said he would be pissed off is Sheen did not die before Lorre. When Sheen responded to Lorre's petty whine Lorre decided it was time to pull the plug on Two and a Half Men. Sheen is pissed. I think much of what Sheen is saying is part of Sheen's shtick. Sheen is an entertainer and he knows he is entertaining MILLIONS by keeping up the crazy-talk.
I completely agree with Sheen about Alcoholics Anonymous. AA has a dismal success rate and does not work for people who do not buy into the faith based core belief of AA or AA's baseless claim that people are unable to beat addiction without the help of some group/AA. How many people have said, "If you don't want to be an addict just quite being an addict." and honestly believed that was all it takes? Is Sheen an addict? Who knows! One thing for sure, Sheen truly ENJOYS being a user and sees no real reason to quite using. However, Sheen does seem to have some serious issues with Intermittent Explosive Disorder and needs professional help and perhaps even medication to deal with IED.

Nothing could be further from the truth regarding AA's 12 step program. Even the most ardent true believers, of Alcoholics Anonymous, who will be honest about it recognize that A.A. and N.A. have at least 90% failure rates. And the real numbers are more like 95% or 98% or 100% failure rates. Harvard Medical School says that the vast majority of the people who successfully quit drinking for a year or more — eighty percent of them — do it alone, all by themselves, without any treatment program or "support group".

Nothing "horrible" has ever happened to me. If it had it certainly would not have been "God's fault." God does not do things to or for people. Unlike you, I do not confuse God with Santa. MzChief, I don't have a lot of facts for you concerning AA, but I can say that this program has helped me cope with the horrors of alcoholism in my family. The slogans, the Twelve Step program, the support that people get and receive from sharing their lives and stories is all very healing.
If a person has the will to go it alone, more power to them. The "group" idea works because folks don't feel alone in fighting their problem.
I hope nothing horrible ever happens to you. Truly.
