- Rush Limbaugh keeps playing Obama's "that's above my pay grade" audio clip when he refused to answer the question as to when life begins. (Dumb answer. He has got to get his A Game back.)
- And the media is having a field day because McCain was unable to tell a reporter how many homes he owns. (Edit: It's not the fact that he owns seven houses that's the problem, it's the fact that he didn't know he owned seven houses.)
Anybody else beginning to think that both of those guys have no idea what it's like to be us?
I'm just going to celebrate the joy of volleyball. Hey, now.

Thursday Afternoon Pick Me Up
Kind of quiet on the Internets today.

It's funny, in my 20's & 30's I didn't care what happened locally or nationally, now I can't believe how screwed up we are at all levels. My taxes keep going up but the local guys want more.
As far as the national level, everyone is so out of touch it’s scary. Phil King appears not to care about his constituent’s needs and wants, but he easily wins the primary. Then you have the POTUS, they all scare me. I will vote for the one who scares me the least and hope that they don't screw it up to bad.

Bush is a liberal too. Talk about out of touch. His "neo-conservatism" is more in line with the traditional definition of liberalism than true conservatism. You lefties can have him.
We need to just scrap this government and go back and read the Constitution and start over again. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
Here's an idea: start the offshore drilling and poking holes in Alaska to tap our reserves there. Start pulling our troops out of the Islamic countries while stemming the flow of foreign aid to Israel. Remove our troops and bases from the 100+ countries where we currently have them stationed and quit lending money to every country that has its hand out.
We'd be taking great strides to make ourselves less dependent on foreign oil (you "no blood for oil" leftists will like that), the Arab world wouldn't hate us so much, our national balance sheet would look a little blacker (not in a racial sense) and we wouldn't be in a position to be the World Police like we are now. We could have diplomatic relations with more countries, trade deficits would decrease, The U.S. would regain some credibility on the world stage while walking softly and carrying a big stick. Hey, that's a pretty good saying. I'm glad I just made that up.
Anyway, there's my plan for world domination. Once we lull everyone in to a false sense of security, that's when we strike and make the world's population our bitches.
I wonder if she could throw us some hand signals like the pros do it. Whether she does it from the front or back does not matter. I'll stand and take serve where ever she tells me to.

John Edwards also has 7 houses. They just happen to be all tied together into one huge home. Divide 7 into the number of square feet his house is and you have 7 houses larger than the typical American home. Why is it such a big deal for liberal weenies that Conservatives can't be succesful but yet they can. The party of Do as I say, Not as I do. Don't get me started on the Kennedy's. How many compounds do they have?

Even when the president and his wife and children arnt @ anyone particualr home the other are still under the watch of the Secret service all at tax payers expense! this includes Vacation homes etc !

They decided to have a house built for the Secret Service,on their property, with bedrooms, office and control center in the amount of $500,000.00,at tax payer expense. Guess what, it also raised the value of their home $500,000.00 so when they sell it they will be even richer due to our tax help. The Federal Government has spent years putting us to sleep with the fact they'll take care of everything and we've become too lazy. As well, for the most part, most Americans don't even see the point of trying because there seems to be no way to get enough people involved to get rid of the crap in Washington and Austin, for that matter. Yep, they have us right where they want us, complacent as hell. It's like putting the kiddo's to bed at night. They want to know if your going to bed too and you say, "yes, in a few minutes" then you stay up for the next three hours trying to get everything done prior to going to bed, BEHIND THEIR BACK so to speak. Yep, it's a joke and most believe there is nothing that can be done. The scary part is, if we don't, who will and how will it turn out. Right now, it ain't looking to good. I'll vote for McCain and hope for the best because Obama is a rookie, attempting to pull off the JFK appearance and we're all going to get screwed. He'll pick up where Jimmy Carter left off. It is funny however to know that McCain is in fact a distant relative of Bush. Makes you wonder if the powers that be don't have it all rapped up.
