If the little dipshit would have just rolled down the window. Cop is in jail, but somehow I believe that little asshat may listen from now on. And he is most likely rich from the Ghetto Lottery he won when he sued.

One must admit though, the face drop was jacked up.

You are a F'n idiot. When your son/daughter gets tazed and dumped right on their face , will you feel the same? This asshat deserves all the buttsecks he's gonna get.

10:39am -Did you even watch the video?

I question every "police abuse" accusation - most are bogus, this one is clear.
That officer wanted and succeeded to hurt this kid.

Maybe you too like to slam kids around, who knows -I think you should pull your head out of your ass and use your head for something except a hat rack.

Keep it classy, 10:39.

According to the article that Barry cited, the 17 year-old kid now has brain damage, and the police officer falsified the police report. The office was indicted both for using excessive force and for lying in the police report, among other offenses.

10:39 is a dipshit ......legally you don't have to roll your window all the way down. Dumbass

Maybe we can some more over zealous cops locked

10:39 -

LEO?

What's it matter if the kid didn't want to roll down the window? Traffic stop, he can hear the officer, the officer can hear him, and he can pass documents. Power trip by the officer and 4 years in prison isn't enough for what he did IMHO.

I love to see cops like him going to prison, or any cop for that matter. Big Jamal and the boys will love him. And I do mean LOVE!!!

Anonymous said...

The kid is a punk and was acting like one by refusing the lawful orders of the police officer. I describe his behavior as passive resistance. Maybe the event taught him something that his parents failed to do. They should share in some of the responsibility of what happened as a result of their child's disrespect for authority.

Anther thought, we have a candidate for Wise County District Attorney who shares in this disrespect for authority as evident by his frequent postings of stories of bad cops.

Police brutality!!! Riots in the streets!!! Oh wait, he was a white kid? No big deal.

Black lives matter!

Should have shot him. They always get off when they shoot.

Man I wish all cops of all types would just announce that they quit, leaving all of us to fend for ourselves. Then people like 11:53 can cry like a baby the next day when they WISHED there was still a cop around once the chaos starts.

There was a warrant out on that car/plate, wrong or not that's all the cop knew.

Kid got pulled over by accident people. But instead of just going along and acting like a normal person, this kid pulls out his cell phone to get a video of how bad ass he is on snapchat, telling this cop how many laws he knows.

Just because you have a phone recording does not give you some type of force field. You must always realize you are dealing with a guy, with a gun, with a tazer, and usually some type of attitude.

Cop needed kid out of car, so he could arrest him on his warrant. If this kid had not gone into "Lawyer" mode, you know since he has a phone out he is a lawyer. And just got out he could eat solid foods still.

COp was dead wrong for dropping him on his face.

Cop has no idea what he is dealing with. He knows there is a warrant out for this plate/car, he needs the person out so he can get cuffs on him. According to all of your logic, this kid could have just sat there playing on his phone in his car for however long until the cop just left, or gave up.

Recording a cop does not give force field or cell phone magic! Recording some one will not stop them from tazing you.
Sometimes, just doing what you are told until things get worked out is the best thing to do.

Remember, Warrant. This is all this cop knew, and now he has someone who will not cooperate, wont get out, wont roll down window. Cop cant say warrant, then the criminal knows the gig is up and may just drive off, or shoot him, endangering everyone.

Up until the face drop on concrete, this guy was just getting this kid under control until things could get settled out.

Kid thought the camera gave him force field, or made him Geraldo rivera 10 oclock news reporter. Thought he would get some bad ass snapchat video, and gave him special law powers that he knew all traffic laws, arrest laws, and what he had to do.

Face drop was awful.

Cop was securing who he thought to be a felon with a warrant. Kid thought he was Lawyer with a snapchat video for the ages as he out-lawyered a cop in the street.

All would have been avoided, if he simply listened.

Most nigs were still hung back in those days. A rare few made it to prison, hence the white rapists.

Good god I hope that they put that guy in gen-pop... and he never works a day in his life again.

This pig doesn't even have the sack to pull a 150 pound kid out of the car so he tazes the phuck out of him. Then to top it off slams the child's face into the pavement .... I bet he felt like a real bada$$. Back the badge people!!! Just another cop with a badge and gun here to serve and protect the community...

I found your recitation of the facts, repetitive to say the least.

If the cop wanted him out of the car, why did he go to the passenger side initially? Did he want the kid to get out on street side while the officer was on the curb side?

The cop was PO'd that the kid was not cooperating. Even after the tasing, the cop had no need to keep tasing the kid after he was out of the car. He just did that because he could.

10:39, 12:07 & 11:15... The kid was only following what his father (who is a Kansas City policeman) told him to do if stopped by police. How dare he know his rights. Maybe now Officer Runnels understands he's not a "hero" and citizens actually have rights police must respect. 4 years is a joke. He's expected to behave at a higher standard and should have received the maximum sentence.

Just the facts.

NOTHING on your blog about Richard Simmons becoming a woman?

When he gets out Rhome will hire him.

You are an idiot. If my son or daughter refuse to obey an officers orders they get what they deserve. That is what is wrong with our society . Obey the fing law

Anonymous said...

That is what is wrong with our society. Obey the fing law - 4:58

That's exactly what the powertripping cop should have done. They aren't thugs that are above the law.

If the little dipshit would have just rolled down the window. - 10:39

The window was broken and wouldn't roll down. All you sheeple blindly supporting this thug cop clearly have no idea of the facts. The kid's father is a Kansas City cop. He had drilled into his son how to behave if stopped by police. The boy did exactly as his father had instructed him.

The thug cop let the boy die on the sidewalk. Paramedics got his heart started again while the "hero first responder" stood idly by. That's where the boy received his permanent brain damage, from the lazy, entitled behavior and action of the "hero" that took no action to revive the boy he had just killed.

If you sheeple would actually do at least a miniscule amount of research, maybe you'd know what actually happened:

“This former police officer was trained and entrusted to enforce the law impartially,” stated U.S. Attorney Tammy Dickinson. “His use of excessive force violated both the public’s trust and his oath to uphold the law.”

Following Runnels’ sentencing, Masters’ family stated, “The past twenty months have been emotionally and physically exhausting. We hope that today’s sentence will allow Bryce to begin to focus on his future. Aside from dealing with a traumatic brain injury, Bryce has battled the perception that he is somehow responsible for the crime committed against him. Bryce’s only mistake in this situation was following his parents’ advice to ask questions, particularly to ask ‘why’ if stopped by law enforcement. While we are pleased that Mr. Runnels was held accountable for his actions, no one really wins in this scenario. Two law enforcement families were devastated by these events and we all simply wish that day had never happened.”

Just the facts.

In other police related news, have you heard about the Oklahoma Highway Patrol's new devices that allow them to perform electronic civil asset forfeiture on the side of the road? They can supposedly scan all of a person's credit and debit cards in this machine and take all of the funds associated with those cards. There's a story about this here: http://www.news9.com/story/32168555/ohp-uses-new-device-to-seize-money-used-during-the-commission-of-a-crime.
