Too Little, Too Late

The prosecutor withheld evidence, and a man was sent to death row.  Man released when it was discovered the prosecutor withheld evidence which would have destroyed his case. And by that I mean, he had no proof the man was guilty. But he didn't care about that.

And that prosecutor was defiant until the end.

Still is--his website is up still, and he has put ads in the paper claiming Graves was guilty within the last year.

Rage

Bring charges of attempted murder against him? Statue of limitations?

He broke the law, is it too late to criminally prosecute him?

I'd like to think that Denny up there actually thinks it's "Statue" of limitations, but I imagine that it's just a typo

There's justice for you. A teacher makes a race related comment on Facebook & before the week is out she looses her job and will probably never teach again. But some second rate prosecutor violates a basic rule of criminal procedure, sends a man to death row, cost the state $1M+, and 20 years later he FINALLY loses his law license. And you know what? Besides the people directly involved, no body gives a rats ass. Teachers are nothing more than modern society's "niggars" that you can blame every time something goes wrong. There will come a day when the only people who will "teach" will be those who want to play (called coaches) or absolute incompetents who can't do anything else. (And let's see how long it takes some uneducated idiot to say we are already there.)

This is why the death penalty should only be applied to cases that can only be proven without a shadow of a doubt.

Hopefully, now that he's cleared, he'll find better best friends to hang around with than those who go out and kill families. It's interesting to see just how many people avoid death row and prison by not associating with or becoming violent criminals. Weird.

We conservatives don't care about guilt or innocence, we support cops and prosecutors no matter what. You shouldn't have put yourself in a position to get arrested if you couldn't do the time, no matter if you're innocent. Personal responsibility....Yada Yada Yada!

It's as if we want all illegal activity to be tolerated.

Murder someone? That's ok.

Prosecute that murderer? You're fired!
