Keith: "More over, Mr. Bush, you are accomplishing in part what Osama Bin Laden and others seek — a fearful American populace, easily manipulated, and willing to throw away any measure of restraint, any loyalty to our own ideals and freedoms, for the comforting illusion of safety."
Nothing could be truer than that right there. It’s not only insulting that Bush once said "they hate us for our freedoms" and then proceeded to strip away those freedoms with such things as the Patriot Act and the warrantless wiretapping, but he also constantly says how the key tactic of the terrorist is fear, while his administration is out on a daily basis delivering speeches that are geared towards scaring us.

Brought to you by the man that named Bill O'Reilly the worst human being in the world 42 times last year, Saddam twice and Bin Laden zip, zero, nada. I guess when you are so far down in the ratings while getting the dog dirt kicked out of you by the competition, you tend to smear the guy at the top.
What's your source for those ratings, please. The rating information I've seen paints a different story. It’s O’Lielly’s ratings that are going south. And how sad it is that journalists and newscasters (and I use those words recklessly in regards to O’Lielly) have sunk to the all time low of regurgitating the White House propaganda with no research, investigation or attempt to find the truth.
I salute anyone who has the courage to stand up for the Constitution and the truth especially in the current political atmosphere of disparaging and criminalizing any one who disagrees with The Bu$h Crime Family.
If any one would miss the point, I knew it would be you Sheehan. The ratings are not the point, it is the fact that he would never name Bin Laden as worst human being.
You can find them on the Drudgereport weekly. Oblbermann is always in the tank with his ratings and O'Reilly is always on top for cable networks. Glad I could be of help.
Drudge only has general ratings and not specific shows or historical ratings.
I did find this:
However, the show's ratings have increased by 41% in the last year.[8] In the first quarter of 2006, the ratings for Countdown surpassed CNN's Paula Zahn Now in the 25-54 demographic, marking the first time in five years an MSNBC show has beaten a CNN show in prime time for this demographic. In April 2006, Olbermann's ratings continued to climb, showing a 35% increase in overall viewers from the previous month's ratings, while O'Reilly's had dropped to "his worst month in nearly five years among viewers age 25 to 54

If he only has 1 viewer and one other viewer starts watching, his ratings go up 100%. You miss the point Sheehan. Bin Laden is OK, O'Reilly bad. What is wrong with this picture. Oh, never mind. I forgot who I was talking to there for a minute. If Howard Dean says it, it must be so with you. Hee Haw Dean is so far left, he's up to his ass in the Pacific Ocean. And what is sad, he has thousands of followers like you marching with him. Hope you can swim.
Pretty vague accusations. Exactly which "freedoms" have you been deprived of due to the Patriot Act or the government's listening to the phone calls of suspected terrorists? Or are you just repeating Democrat talking points? (The Democrats always paraphrase Joe Friday: "No facts, ma'am. Just Harry Reid's opinion.")
BTW, Olbermann is trying to drum up ratings by manufacturing a "feud" with O'Reilly, who is light-years ahead of him in the ratings. Olbermann's like that guy in Ben Hur who got dragged behind the chariot.
O'Lielly's ratings are going south while Olbermann's ratings are climbing. Nice trend that I expect to continue. : )
Bu$h should be the worst person in the world for letting bin Laden get away in Afghanistan.

If Olbermann can pick up about two million more viewers, he may overtake O'Reilly. Of course, Olbermann manufactured a feud with O'Reilly in order to increase his ratings. Classy.
Oh gee whiz! Looks like Scholastic no longer wants to be associated with ABC's Mocumentary, The Path to 911. Seems they want to teach critical thinking skills instead and they want to discuss the differences between a documentary and a mocumentary.
Good for Scholastic!

With the number of people who believe MM's Fahrenheit 9/11 was "truthful," I'd say critical thinking skills are in short supply, and NEED to be taught (although teachers may not be the best teachers.)
Your boy Clinton sure doesn't want the spotlight on his mistakes does he? Doesn't he believe in free speech? You don't hear anyone on Bush's side calling for it to be edited now do you. It's all about legacy with Clinton. Now we are going to see how asleep at the wheel this clown really was. Soak in it Sheehan.
Asleep at the wheel? : )
To the dead we owe only the truth.
Your cartoon pictures really bolster your argument. I could show one of BJ but Barry is censoring now. Enjoy Path to 9/11. Just so I know, I know you haven't seen it yet but yet you are already attacking it calling it a mocumentary. Get a clue. ABC is promoting it as a dramatization. The truth really hurts doesn't it?
The truth sets you free. Propagandizing a national tragedy just before election time backfires.
I am glad I am free. Thanks to ABC for showing the truth.
Use logic. If it were true and they had nothing to risk, would they be considering pulling the series? Of course not!
The only reason to consider pulling it is because they know that it is full of inaccuracies and outright lies. The series directly conflicts with the findings of the 911 commission report and the congressional records.
Nice reblogging of DailyKos or Moveon.org. IT WILL BE SHOWN. Enjoy the popcorn while you watch it.
You sure are gleeful at the prospect of watching a piece of propaganda that was likely financed by taxpayers through a faith based group.
Even if it does air it has lost all credibility.
Lost all credibility with you but not with anyone else. Finally Clinton gets exposed for being a clown surrounded by more clowns. It will be a great day to be a Republican. Did it chap your ass that Katherine Harris won her primary? It seems everyone wrote her off, but mainstream politics is alive and well and the kook fringe left is sinking fast. I love it.
I heard the writer and producer yesterday on the radio and he said he financed the whole thing so there goes your credibility. Despite what the Daily Kos and moveon.org bloggers are saying the truth is finally going to be shown. Liberals are a bunch of whiners.
Yah-Yah Liberals SUCK !!!!

Cognitive dissonance is the stress from holding two conflicting thoughts in your mind at the same time. When you say "use logic" and then say the things you say, the "cognitive dissonance" meter must go off the scale.
Briefly: 1) There are more reasons than one that ABC might pull the show, although it looks as though they're going ahead. Fear of being strongarmed by the Democrats comes to mind.
2) This dramatization of events, this movie (not documentary) changes some of the points for dramatic and artistic purposes. It does not conflict with the 9/11 commission's findings, other than for those purposes, and which I understand are to be addressed during the show.
Of course this entire thing will help Republicans politically. It may even have been calculated. Politics is a rough game. However, it's not the movie itself that will destroy Democrats' chances, it is their reaction. Anyone who has ever implied that Bush wants to limit our freedoms needs to take a look at what the Clinton crowd has tried to do.
SHEEHAN would have sex with a pile of rocks if she thought there was a snake in there ! She could suck a golf ball through 40 feet of garden hose back in high school !
