Cowboys Radio Play by Play

Long term Dallas Cowboy play by play man is Brad Sham. But maybe not for long. KTCK - The Ticket won the broadcast rights to the Cowboy games a couple of weeks ago and most expected Jerry Jones to keep Brad in the booth. But the Morning News says today that under the new arrangement The Ticket will be paying the play by play guy so the station gets to call the shots as to who announces the games. Brad, a long time critic of The Ticket, may be gone.

Good!! He is an arrogant sob, who never is a homer whatsoever for the team he announces for. It is like it pains him to say anything nice about the Cowboys.

Maybe Jerry could do it himself. With a 20 second delay to remove all of the ughs.

I don't know whatgames you listen to, but it ain't the Cowboys apparently. Brad Sham is one of the best announcers there has ever been. No, he's not a bleeding-heart homer, but who wants that? He tells it like it is, hands out praise when it's deserved, talks about his wish for the team's immediate success when they're behind, etc. Your comment made no sense at all.

As for replacing him, if they do, The Ticket will be betraying all of its loyal listeners. They take potshots at the Cowboys all the time, then expect to be treated like a sports station - which they are. They better not let Brad Sham go because he is critical of their station! That woud\ld be VERRY hypocritical.

I hope the Ticket lets him go for all the smack talk over the years. I hope they pay the rest of the media back too
