Dallas Morning News Expose On High School Athlete Transfers

I wonder if Bridgeport will be mentioned . . . . Uh, oh . . . .

And that's just the beginning. Full story.

Edit: And I don't know if the following was a response to the story by Hawks, but it certainly has a "Well, allow me to retort" feel to it if it is:

Neal Hawks bought and paid for that ring with his basketball recruiting efforts so I guess he should be allowed to flaunt it.....

I didn't read the article, but it sounds as though Neal Hawks knows more about basketball than his brother-in-law.

I like how the Wise Co. Messenger didn't even list Bulls basketball as one of top local sports teams of the year? Does that tell you something.

That's because the Messenger doesn't acknowledge that Bridgeport even exists.

It's the Decatur Messenger, not he Wise County Messenger.

You people need to remember: those boys in Bport we NOT transfer students! They live in the district. NOT transfers!

Find one person that can, without looking it up, name all the high school state champions in football and basketball two years ago, JUST ONE, and maybe we can actually believe this matters to anyone.

That's right. Live with it 6:46PM 4:18PM

Ask Neal Hawks to buy B-port a newspaper like he bought B-port a state championship...

Call it "The Sissies". It has a nice ring to it.

This ain't nothin' compared to what victory Christian is going to pull off when the new commish of Ed implements a voucher program. And trust me, the guy is getting the job because that's what Abbott wants and Duncan will deliver. Remember that name, Duncan.
