Internet Laughed At This Guy Over The Weekend

As did I.

And we should all be ashamed of ourselves.

I do a horrible job of it, but I try to always be mindful of where a person has been before I judge them. It's the concept of, "Maybe he's had a bad day." But sometimes a person has had a very hard life. Sometimes self-inflicted. Sometimes out of their control like this man.

I am ashamed of Richard Gas Monkey feeling the need to be a prop.

Thanks for posting this - we all need the reminder. The older I get, the more patience I have for others. Don't always succeed, but I'm trying.

My wife and I are in our late 30s, and last year she was diagnosed with MS. I'd like to think we were fairly decent people before, but a diagnosis like that certainly affects your compassion level for strangers - especially for conditions that aren't readily apparent.

And now he's the first person to have open heart surgery and organ shut down AND laughed at for being wimpy on the court.

Man... pass that baton... or don't put your name in the hat and allow yourself to be internet fodder.

10:11 I didn't think he was Wimpy on the court...he never once uttered, "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today"!

11:37

I never saw him say that either... but the mustard on his lip gave it away.
