But I might be able to post a few random notes (they tell me the lobby has wifi) but I make no promises.
However, I am proud to announce that it is ..............(drumroll)............. Poll Week.
If this thing works correctly, then every day you should see three to four polls that will allow you to vote and/or see the results. It's basically a "who are you/what you believe" type of thing, but I really am interested in the response.
As for my typical "Best Of" posts during vacation .......meh.

I think alot of folks take off during the 4th of July week. My son worked on the 4th so he could buy some fireworks. Seems that Montague was in a burn ban and Wise county was not. There were 20 something kids, supervised by adults that called Wise county and were told they could shoot the fireworks off. Montague Sheriffs Deputy's showed up and wrote tickets and confiscated fireworks citing they were on the county line. Why bother trying to do the right thing when one cannot be certain what the right thing is? The fine is "up to 500 dollars" whatever that means. He spent 92 bucks on fireworks, spent less then 10 min at the party and lost his paycheck. I think he might make 460 bucks in the month of July, so he is now working for the MAN!

Maybe you should open up on the comment moderation while you are out of town. Let the comments post and then moderate them after the fact, when you have the time. That would allow us to carry on conversations without having to burden you.
