Montgomery County, Texas DA tweets about local "news organization" publishing photos of those arrested, yet not convicted, of DWI.
So much for his respect from the presumption of innocence.
Edit @ House of York: Those City of Denton bookin/booking photos I link to every now and then are actually posted by a North Texas student who is not associated with any government agency.
Edit: I stand corrected, the City of Denton does post bookin photos. When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. (I guess that's where the North Texas student gets them and then twitpics them.)

I read your "edit" to House of York. So what.....it makes no difference. They are still pictures posted of "accused' and not yet convicted or found guilty. So you are doing just the same when you post those pictures from Denton too. No way around that one, Barry.

House of York...the fact is Barry posts them (Denton pictures) here as book in photos. You were correct in your first post. No need to apologize.

"presumption of innocence" is only in the eyes of the law and the courts, private individuals can hold any view they choose. The information is public record.

Hey Jack D..... there would be no "big deal" if Barry had left this alone. But HE puts up the same photos that he is now chastizing others for doing. Pot calling the kettle black? hmm?
I think the difference is that Barry's not the D.A. The D.A. is sworn to find the truth, and posting booking pictures of people who are presumed innocent creates a conflict of sorts.
