I had a different post automatically set to go up but I deleted it. UNLV cheerleaders were cute but that just didn't seem to be appropriate on the day of the second worst mass killing in U.S. history. Especially with all of the children involved.
On that note, I'm set to attend an elementary school choir's Christmas pageant tonight. It may turn out to be the most emotional unscheduled memorial service ever. At least for me.

Third worst. Everyone forgets the Bath Township School massacre.
UNLV! Barnhill!
Yep, you've crossed the "Grown Up" line.
Way to go Bu.

I am holding back tears for those children and their families. It is all I can do to not cry right now. Unbelievable what some people are capable of in today's society. Hug your children extra hard tonight.
I think the school choir thing will be very good to hear. I feel like I usually make jokes in poor taste around these kinds of events, survival humor maybe, but this event makes me waver between extreme sadness and brutal anger. I guess in short, I can relate to your sentiment.
If you were able to put it in a mathematical context we wouldn't even be talking about it.
Percentage-wise it would be the equivalent of two people getting killed 100 years ago, and that was never national news.
Pity the math-stupid who have come to occupy our country
When there are no guns . . .
See below from CNN, but also on page A10 of this morning's Wall Street Journal:

Gee, with all this gloom and doom I needed some tight t's and a's to clear my head and help me remember what's really important in life.
Touching..Not, your Boy Spud Kennedy should really stick to writing about Cheese Burgers w/ Grease dripping from his Fingers.
Good call, BG, on the kid picture tonight. Eventhough my children are grown, my heart is ripped out of my chest over what has happened. I work in a school. I remember back in the day when schools were the safest place to be. Guess there is no where safe anymore.
Touching, next
I didnt listen to a Kids Choir or sing Silent Night. I loaded more magazines and bought more ammo
