Decatur Held Hostage:

Most of Decatur's Internet service has been out all day today.

When you have an office that is paperless, phones that are VOIP, and most courts require e-filiing, it kind of makes it tough to get things done.

Not to mention the millions deprived of Liberally Lean entertainment and cutting edge insights.

Is it true that the city of Decatur is "locked in" to some agreement with Century Link?

And that is why there is really no other options for accessing "THE GOOGLE" in Decatur.

Did some one at city hall sell us out years ago?????

Fortunately I was able to use my AT&T phone as a mobile hotspot to get by. BTW, if you call Centurykink and complain you will get a credit on your bill for loss of service. I got 2 days credit.

I had better internet service when I worked in Latin America. Century Link has major problems.

You should start paying your internet bills with pennies.
