Have you kept up with the latest Oprah Spotlight? She put some spare guy's book on her Book Club (and, of course, it sells a krillion copies). Then we find out that most of this "memoir" of a recovering drug addict is made up. Larry King gets the author on his TV show and Oprah calls in to defend him.
Sheesh.
Of course, she gets lots of hate mail and . . . (drumroll, please) . . . she changes her mind. So, she fires up the cameras and gets the author back on the show so she can call him a "liar" in front of zombie fans.
I can't stand that woman.
And, today, all she gets is glowing reviews.

Just goes to prove a point: people are sheep. They let some poor slob (regardless of income or physical appearance) do their thinking for them and then cry foul when things tank. Much like the blog on Rummy and Saddam. Kinky is not the answer, but he is a positive factor if people start thinking about their current situation. Quite listening to Pill Head Limbaugh, Annal Al Franken, and think for yourselfs.

Oprah has done a lot of good, but lately she seems to be going over the top. Maybe her ratings are dropping? Or maybe she's bored?

Does anyone watch Oprah for accuracy or intellectual development?
Only Oprah's Minions watch her and actually enjoy her.
The guy has a problem...and who knows if he wrote a novel and the publisher thought it should be a true story of his life.
Oprah didn't help herself on this one..it was an overkill just because his story wasn't true.
How many books have been written on Abraham Lincoln and which one is true!
The guy is a great writer and I think his books will continue to sell.
She beat up on him so much, I think most people felt sorry for him.
