VERY crowded, and an excellent. I was told that the total amount of raised money was still be counted when I left last night. It is estimated about $60,000 or so.
So glad the event was a success. I am really grateful to the Wise County Messenger for running those full page ads (several) supporting our fire fighters.
Heard that the total was in the $80,000 range. Hope that is true and think that will be about $5000 for each FD. This is amazing that the citizens did that much in a short amount of time
This is a True Testimonial to how great and good hearted the people of Wise County are and how fortunate we are to have the caliber of Firefighters who protect us. CHEERS !!!
