Random Tuesday Morning Thoughts




A bullet point about my Halloween costume I came up with. 


  • Someone tipped me off last week that the court system database had gone down in Dallas. They said it was now a mess. Now we know why. (This is different that the ransomware attack on the city of of Dallas computers a few months back.)

  • The Messenger reports that the mailbox outside of the Decatur post office has been closed due to theft incidents. 
  • Rainfall totals. That was a lot. 

  • This sounded like a scene.
     

  • It was a couple of days ago when news broke that a former NHL playing hockey in England had died after having his "throat slashed" by another's players skate.  I assumed it was a freak accident, and I blew off some reports of it being an intentional act. Then I saw the video. Now I'm not so sure. 

  • I really haven't followed the Sam Bankman-Fried trial, but I perked up when I saw this courtroom sketch of him pop up online yesterday to everyone's glee. Turns out, it wasn't real and just something AI generated. 


  • I've been harping on this for quite a while now.

  • When a paywall really frustrates me: 

  • The Texas Oilman's PAC doesn't know whether to overtly publicize their political intentions towards Wise County or not ever since being caught in the white supremacy scandal. 

  • Hurtful.

  • The famous Ponder steakhouse has shut down
