Time For Republican Response To The President

But instead Fox News jumped the shark.

As for delivery, she was a robot. Here's a hint to members of both parties: If you ever get offered the chance to provide the response to the State of the Union, don't do it.

We regret the day that the parties pushed for response time & the networks caved. The State of the Union is the President (at the time) speaking directly to the nation and Congress. It doesn't require a play-by-play or color commentary from the opposing party immediately. Does anyone really think an opposing viewpoint won't make its way in the next day's news cycle? The immediate LIAR LIAR approach cheapens the whole presentation and makes both parties look like daycare kids fighting over the last pudding pop. Very disheartening.
