- Legal nerdy stuff: A couple arrested in a national fraud scheme are being held in the Tarrant County Jail on state charges with bonds of $25 million and $30 million. That is, until the Fort Worth Court of Appeals said yesterday the bond amounts were "beyond the pale." The defense lawyer is Gregg Gallian out of Dallas. The lower court judge is Andy Porter.
