- This whole thing is weird. It appears she left the child in a running air-conditioned car while she went to work for under three hours. Returning and discovering the child dead, she drove to the hospital with the story that she had been "driving around" with the child without the air-conditioning working when she discovered he was nonresponsive. I bet the stop at the fast food stop, which made it to all the headlines, was just an intentional effort to support her "driving around" story.
