Random Wednesday Morning Thoughts

Ken Bone. For no real reason, this guy had his 15 minutes of fame because of an appearance at a Hillary/Trump at a "town hall" debate. (And probably the last town hall presidential debate we'll ever see.)

  • It was 54-year-old Chad Edward Fikes of Garland.  That's all we know.

  • The headline is all we know.

  • That anti-drag show law has it's first victim -- in a high school play. I saw this gal interviewed on Fox 4 last night, and she was fantastic. Smart. Articulate. And she just wants to act.  Plus, this wasn't the first time she has played male roles in plays at the school.

  • This is a pretty detailed article about the evidence presented yesterday. Even very old social media posts can come back to haunt you. Side note: You might not want to name your dog "Tequila." Gift link.

  • Someone needs to tell new Texas Comptroller Don Huffines -- who I have always thought is very strange -- that he is not the legislative branch of government.

  • Her first "press conference" was a train wreck. She's not going to make it. (And it would help if she would learn to read. Or at least prepare.)

    • And there's another problem. She has held herself out on TV many times as a lawyer, but it looks like she never passed any bar exam in any state.

  • Gone Girl.  And it it were not for the investigative reporting of the Wall Street Journal, she'd still be there.

    • Sir, they were engaged.

  • In case you think all is quiet in the Strait of Hormuz, it is not.

  • This is weird enough  . . .

    • . . .  but this is even weirder.  Here's that post and video. He's insane.

  • I'm aware that www.wisecounty.com is currently down. (It went offline at 4:31 a.m. per my logs.). I'm working on it.  Edit: It's back up.
