- The Dallas DA wasn't paying attention and lost his job.
- This was what his opponent was doing just last week.
- The war spread to a new country this morning:
- I'm not sure the war on Iran is just the equivalent of a video game as the White House attempted to make us believe last night. "Following the recent escalation of the United States and Israel's joint military campaign against Iran, the White House has taken to X to share a video promoting its ongoing operations. In addition to real footage from recent attacks, the video includes a killstreak animation from 2023's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3."
- Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth does not like you mentioning that an Iranian drone killed six servicemen when it hit a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, on March 1, 2026..

Quote from yesterday's press conference: - After repeatedly denying it, U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales finally admitted yesterday that he had an affair with a staffer who later set herself on fire. He called it "a lapse in judgment."
- There wasn't enough room in the headline to add that the protestor was a former marine and that you could hear the man's arm snap during the skirmish. Video.
- She has to be hoping the stock market breaks 50,000 again before the hearing.
- Dateline Phoenix.
- If there was ever a Texas candidate who needed to lose in her run for office and get only 10% of the vote, it is this lady.
- Her reaction is what you would expect and sounds very familiar.
- Wise County's Andy Hopper has a speaking engagement. At the bottom: "Join us to mobilize Christian conservatives to defend biblical truth and stand against Islam and the Great Replacement."

And she was. She hit an officer with the Denton Police Department causing "serious bodily injury.". Two years later, she would be sentenced to five years in prison out of Denton County two years later (case No. F16-1100-16.)
- It's election results time. First, the Wise County races:
- In the race to replace retiring judge Brock Smith, we had the closest result that I can ever remember. That's a difference of 89 votes.
- JP Kim Redman fought off a challenger from Chico by a comfortable margin.
- In the race to replace retiring judge Jan Morrow, a former DPS trooper came out on top and managed to avoid a run-off to boot.
- John Cornyn and Ken Paxton will be heading to a statewide runoff, but his is how Wise County voted. I beginning to think Paxton could shoot someone on Highway 114 and it wouldn't matter.
- The West Texas Oilman PAC, with help from Texas trial lawyers, allowed Andy Hopper to continue to represent Wise County in the Texas legislature.
- State results:
- Here are the Paxton/Cornyn statewide numbers. I think Cornyn will be in trouble in the run-off.
- To replace Paxton as the State AG, it will be "MAGA Mayes" vs. Chip Roy.
- For Comptroller, Don Huffines finally won a race and did so with avoiding a run-off. And that's despite being the new owner of Epstein's ranch in New Mexico.
- For state comptroller, we learned that "controversial" Bo French amazingly made it to the run-off.
- Long-time Ag Commissioner Sid Miller got beat.
- In other news:
- Moments ago, Iran fired upon a NATO country. Seems significant. Yesterday, they struck the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
- Four of the six war dead were identified.
- This poor sap was arrested yesterday evening. It was later determined that he was just making a delivery to someone inside the building in Dallas.
- Oh, my! "A Kuwaiti F/A-18 fighter jet was the cause of the accidental shootdown of three American F-15s on Sunday, according to three people familiar with initial reports of the incident. One F/A-18 pilot launched three missiles against the U.S. aircraft, according to a U.S. official. All three U.S. aircraft went down, but their pilots ejected safely."
- This post caused rumors to fly yesterday about the Austin Sixth Street shooting, and had over 2 million views.
- The Texas run-off date: May 26, 2026. Sheesh, that's a long way away.

- People acting a-fool. Also all yesterday.
- Look who ran the United Nations Security Counsel yesterday. Yes. Really. If there was ever a need for an interpreter, it was then.
- Happening right now. She's will also be in front of the House committee tomorrow.
- Oh, yeah, there's a war that we just casually started. Headlines . . .
- Marco Rubio provided the weirdest explanation yet on why Iran was attacked. Add it to a growing list of contradictory reasons.
- I don't think they thought this attack through.
- Trump made a short speech about the war during a Medal of Honor ceremony on Monday morning which was meant to honor three Army soldiers. Right in the middle of it all, he started talking about the drapes. Video.
- The reactions of citizens of Kuwait, who weren't sure who the American pilots were who parachuted down after their planes were shot down from friendly fire, were very different depending on the pilot Video of interaction with the male pilot. Video of female pilot's interaction.
