Random Wednesday Morning Thoughts

On October 7, 2016, less than one month before the election, the Access Hollywood "grab 'em by" video of Trump and Billy Bush was released.  I was 100% certain it was over. I still don't understand how it wasn't.

  • Fort Worth Police released this last night. Someone needs to rewrite it.

  • Dateline southern Denton County.

  • All we know is what is in the headline.

  • "Granbury leaders put a proposed recall election on hold when an attorney announced he was suing the city [to stop the election] at Tuesday's city council meeting." Oddly, the Houston lawyer wouldn't say a single word to a reporter as he headed to his pickup truck. (Get some PR training, buddy).  And, strangely, he wouldn't tell anyone who he represents -- for some unexplained reason, the lawsuit paperwork wasn't readily available.

  • Wacky story.

  • Dateline Indiana: Make that an alleged boozed-up woman. Video.

  • Man, there's a lot of this type of stuff going on out there.  Side note: Rod Stewart is not involved.

  • Even the New York Post thinks we need to know about this.  If the Pentagon would ever hold a press conference, we might actually find out what is going on.

  • He did it again! Another investigation announced yesterday!

  • Since when does the Texas Comptroller issue executive orders? Since when does the Texas Comptroller have the authority to repeal taxes?

  • Nugget buried in story about the criminal investigation going on by DPS regarding the Camp Mystic flooding.
  • The more I read, the more I'm convinced no one is getting convicted of anything in the Cornell frat house scandal.
