Eventually we learned that "she lured her husband, 47-year-old Bob Poynter, to a rural Hunt County road where her lover, Michael Glen Garza, shot him in the head. The Poynters, who had married in 2009, were in the midst of a divorce at the time Chacey Poynter started planning the slaying with Michael Glen Garza, whom she was seeing during her marriage."
- WFAA reports that it obtained the arrest affidavit in the alleged hazing case in Boyd. Everyone might want to tap the brakes on this one. (I can't find a PDF of the affidavtit yet.)
- The Wise County DA won a major award from the Texas District and County Attorneys Association this week in its annual conference.
