Her: are you legally authorized to do that? (verrry slurred)

Me: yeah. (I admit confusion at this point). Her: ok (somewhat satisfied)

I've seen lots of jet flyovers to begin a game but the four that just went by was incredible

Opening day

Seats are high, but good

The new stadiums make Texas Stadium look like a fossil. Wide concourses. Food everywhere (including this massive bar). And tons of games for the kids to play outside.

Well, I'm Off To Cowboys - Jaguars

I might just go crazy and run onto the field and jump on Bill Parcells' back. That would be a dignified way to end my career. But, I do think, I'll walk to the game. One of the pics above is the stadium as shot from my hotel room. It looks like a hike, but I like to walk. The other pic is just for grins. I'll try to do the always dicey mobile phone posts from the stadium.

Game Day

The number of Cowboy fans in the lobby this morning wearing team jerseys is amazing. For the record, I don't do that.

And I'm Worried About The World Ending . . .

. . . since Baylor won and Texas lost in the same weekend.
