That's a stupid sign. Another stupid sign I see is on 407 that says LOW FLYING AIRCRAFT. The sign should read, PULL UP!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_calming
Traffic calming uses physical design and other measures to improve safety for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. It aims to encourage safer, more responsible driving and potentially reduce traffic flow. Urban planners and traffic engineers have many strategies for traffic calming, including narrowed roads and speed humps.

It is common in Denton, but not sure how it calms you down. It's just bricks layed in the road.

Means there is a bump in the road to slow you down. Weird thing from Europe...stupid

The state is giving away free joints!?!?!

I hate when they put bricks in the road. They're so hard to dodge.

The term "speed bump" is too harsh for liberal snowflakes.

11:01, the only dumb part of this are the driving idiots who are clueless about safe speeds around schools and neighborhoods; to the point at which "driving for dummies" signs and bumps are even needed in the first place.

Blame it on the Libtards

Don't know if you are joking, 9:01am, but those are signs at the ends of local airport runways. The aircraft can't pull up because they're landing or taking off!
