Class President/Valedictorian Being Suppressed By The Man By Getting His Mic Cut!

Darn skippy we need student councils with more power!

(Love watching the administrator in the back start squirming.)

What's next? Some newborn pops out into the world and immediately rants about the authoritarian doctors and nurses calling all the shots in the delivery room? Hey kid, good job being smart and passionate and all; but school is supposed to be school, those darn rules are there for a reason; and later in life you'll realize how tough it is for administrators, teachers and janitors at schools to deal with all the socially-enabled, inherently put-upon teenagers who have all the answers. Can't figure out why, though, I actually think the kid should have been allowed to speak on.

Those in power always hate criticism.

That graduation song always reminds me of our school motto.
Studiare, Imparare, Partire.
Study, Learn, Leave.

I laughed at this post because I was actually president of Bport high my senior year. It was just something to add to your resume, there was no real power, in fact, ANY power at all...other than to be the "host" at multiple class events in the auditorium.

Another school setting an example, limiting free speech.

A few teachers make you sit down and shut up....can't do that these days; you must allow students to run wild and run free.

Did the guy taking the Random photo sit on top of a truck to take today's photo?
