God makes us so that we should make babies in our early teens, and then those that believe in God and God's total perfection are the ones who go nuts the most when teens do what he intended them to do.

Decatur ISD is a joke and it starts with the head clown Townsend

So....what is the "or else" for this program? Other than parenthood that is.

Does anyone else find it double creepy and extra pervy for school administrators to interject themselves in the sexual behaviour of teens, who aren't their own children?

I'd love to know how many parents respond with the note: "My teenager's sex life is none of your business."

It's a voluntary program that you must sign a waiver to NOT be part of? Isnt that Ass backwards? Only in Wise County !!

Brought to you by the leaders of The Party of Small Government™.

***Disclaimer: "Small" references only government related to regulation on businesses that keep us, the people in charge, from making money at the expense of others' health, safety, and welfare. "Small" does not refer to our interest in what you do in your bedroom, who you do it with, and which deity's name you yell out while you're doing it.***

Uhhh, that's exactly what your party does.

Oh, wait, now that you don't like Trump you're no longer a Republican, that's right. Wink wink. Nudge nudge.

All I see is a notice that the school is promoting abstinence. If you don't think that is the best route for your child, let the school know. There will be other accommodations. Can some please explain what I'm missing?

4:50... Yeah, why do parents have to declare a stance on abstinence to the school? Is it deceptive for a parent to talk about prophylaxis to their child and NOT return the form?

Anonymous said...

By not turning the form in, are parents in Decatur then bound to not discuss safe sex? What a stupid form!
For the kids that turn in the form, and they have their names collected, will they be forced to have sex before marriage? This is an attempt to make kids feel badly about sexuality. Further burying the introduction to safe practices in sexual maturity.

Uh, could I get a list of the ladies who opted out? Just for research on a class project. Yea, that's it.

Ditto. And all the friends/family in admin that hire only friends and family. They run off the good teachers..

How do you opt out of doing nothing?

Anonymous said...

I'm just an average white mom. I don't think you should require students or parents to sign anything like that. It's fine to give students information on birth control, but it should stop there. That piece of paper isn't going to stop any child from having sex.

158,

How exactly do you know what God wants?

This should be interesting.

He is fairly clear on that whole fornication thing, so...

How is this in any way a big government issue? Or do the libtards not understand the meaning of "voluntary"?

I think you are missing a "one".

The whole "It's mandatory unless you sign a form where we can shame you" part.

Schools should not be teaching sex ed under any circumstances. That is not the role of a school! Abstinence or Pro safe sex none of it belongs in a school building. That is the role of the parents. If the parents are too stupid to teach them then they can deal with the consequences along with their uninformed children.

In the heat of the night and the situation all I could her was the blood rushing through my head > Kinda like having a sea shell over both ears > Couldn't hear what my said about signing :-)

I would agree, but instead of abstinence, you should have typed 'religion'.

What about the farm animals? It is Wise county...

Do the trans gender students have to sign one.
Oh I forgot, they are exempt:)

Anonymous said...

Well, at least the student and parents have a choice...taught at school or at home...does not mean they refuse to stay abstinent. However, if any of the ones who sign this form get pregnant, the school can say they told you so and honk their horn.

Mr. Mike Honcho said...

It is not voluntary if you are required to OPT OUT. It is mandatory with a voluntary opt-out clause.

If you think this is appropriate for your school then I'm sorry for you.

Mandatory means no option.

I would like ro know if anyone on the school board can define and spell abstinence. This is funny!!!!

Everyone knows! The best time to learn that you're not sexually compatible is immediately after marriage!
