I've Always Thought He Would Prefer A Glock 9 mm

And I love Internet photoshop humor . . .

He wouldn't be caught packing anything but a Dessert Eagle!

Nah, Jesus would have used a Jericho 941, an Uzi, or maybe the Deagle. Definitely an IWI product at least.

I see Jesus as more of a .40 cal Kimber with custom grips type of fellow.

I always thought our Lord & Savior was more of a Remington 12 gauge shotgun guy. Better coverage when dealing with unruly disciples.

Money changers in the temple: take cover!

Shockingly, another instance of a fundamentalist prooftexting scripture for political purposes.

Reading the next two scriptures (Luke 22:37-38) not only explains what's going on, but completely refutes Palin's contention. First, Jesus says he needs to fulfill prophecy that he would be "numbered with the transgressors." It was illegal for Jews to have swords under the Roman occupation, so being in the presence of people with swords would fulfill the prophesy.

Then, the disciples say they have two swords already. Jesus says "that's enough!" Two swords. For thirteen people. Against Roman soldiers. Pretty sure Jesus didn't intend those two swords to be used for self defense, unless by "self defense" he meant "getting all the disciples slaughtered."

More Republican false prophets. No surprise.

1:37 like I have said before, Jesus was a great messiah but he would have made a terrible Commander in Chief. If we applied his teachings to all matters defense related then we would be up chit creek! He would probably solve the budget crisis though with the massively reduced defense spending...so I guess you have that!

When it comes to self defense I will stand behind my GLOCK and take it up with him if I ever have to use it! I'm pretty sure my wife and kids would prefer this over me just opening my doors to intruders and quoting scripture at them. I'm not even saying that won't work, I'm just not willing to take that chance.

Idiocy.

Anyone knows He would have carried a 1911...designed by John MOSES Browning.

Politicians love headlines, especially when they're trying to sell their book. Right or wrong doesn't apply when profit is at stake. How very sad to use Jesus and guns in the same ad to sell your book.

Jesus said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

A certain Wise County lawyer said, Try and slap me, kid? Welcome to the gun show.

2:32 -

1:37 here. That's perfectly fine - it's your choice, and I'm not quibbling with that. I surely don't have a problem with an individual's choice in how they'll defend themselves. My problem is with (incorrectly) using Christ to sell a book and to further a political agenda. It's vile, and countless politicians on both sides do it. But hey, they'll have to answer for that.

Christianity does not teach us how to govern, despite how badly the politicians want it to. There are some principles that work for governance, and some that don't. Of course Christ would be a terrible Commander in Chief. There's a reason Christ said his kingdom was not of this world. Our government has to make decisions that are decidedly not Christian, for the good of the people. The problem is when politicians try to pretend that those decisions ARE "christian" in order to pander for votes.

I had some marginal respect for Mark Livine until he had her on his show last night so she promote her book.

You just refuse to accept the alternate meaning for some reason.

Next time you say, "I could just kill (insert name here", ask yourself if you really mean that literally.

Oh my, that thought never came to mind...I don't think so.

Couldn't find your email anywhere. Check out this picture from Germany when that bomb was found near a soccer game. These German cops are some "Hey Now's"

Jesus would not have any of these yooptidoo weapons. His staff could do all of this and more. That is all he would need and carry. He would not even have to have a permit.
