Anyone Seen Maverick And Goose?

My expert Google skills tell me the jet has a sticker price of $55 million.

 So?

That movie was the best advertisement for Naval Aviation ever made.

Skippy, You have a problem with the cost of losing the jet but not the billions Obammy loaned to the solar companies that went bankrupt?

I will call you the next time I need humor after a plane crash of US Soldiers. Thanks.

Maverick and Goose were in F-14 Tomcats. Much bigger fighters than the FA-18. Now phased out.
Honestly, for an air superiority fighter, $55M isn't that high. Check the cost on the new F-22s and F-35 Joint Strike Fighters.

@1538

I love that game...

1:39 "Wurdkyle" doesn't care about losing a jet. "Rage" was hoping the naval boys/girls were killed. "Rage" hates our military and "America".

Too bad that it came out after I was married and had a family. If I could have seen it in high school, my whole life might be different now.

Timing is everything.
