The Wife
The Counselor
On Monday [morning around 11:00 a.m.] jurors in Judge Ruben Gonzalez’s court found defendant Sheila Loven guilty of sexual assault. Loven, a marriage counselor, counseled a couple whose marriage was in trouble, encouraged the wife to file for divorce and then had a sexual relationship with her husband. She was convicted of using her position of authority to have sex with a client who was emotionally dependant on her. The punishment phase begins at 1 p.m. Assistant District Attorneys Betty Arvin and Sean Colston are prosecuting the case.

What level offense is this? Punishment range? Will she be required to register as a sex offender?
(Hell yeah, Good Grief!)
The name McLoven from Superbad comes to mind.
Yes, even wimmin can committ crimes...
I'm confused who the victim is...
He was a grown damn man, could have turned down the p-pie if he wanted. Are people just too weak minded these days spot a bad situation and avoid it. The minute she came on to me I would have told my wife and found a new counselor.
The counselor should be reprimanded through her liscensing not by criminal courts.

What wonderfully simple idea...I must use it to my immediate self gratification or somethin.
Another instance of your political leaders wanting to criminalize goofy behavior...For those of you who are curious, through February 14, the Legislature has filed 2,026 bills and resolutions. Of those, 78 bills would create new criminal offenses, 55 bills would increase current punishments, 11 bills would decrease a current punishment, 45 bills are firearms-related (this session’s apparent issue du jour), and 14 bills task local prosecutors with a new unfunded mandate/duty. And all of those numbers are only going to grow over the next few weeks!
We gotta quit saying "There outta be law."
12:29 - I totally agree with your last sentence.
We don't convict child molestors because of the victims age, but because we know that you kids and teens are vunerable, mentally and physically. Someone going into counseling is vunerable and should not be manipulated for any purpose.

That is illegal??
Don't a lot of divorcee's work off their lawyer fees through the sack?
Why is it not illegal for you guys?
Oh yeah,I forgot you guys write the laws
He is a grown man! He is 40 years old!
I don't know, both of those mugs are kinda hard to masturbate to.
No, no there we go. Oh, OK, wasn't as bad as I thought...
"No honey...it's ok...I didn't cheat on you!
My counselor told me it was part of my therapy to bingo bango bongo all the dancers at Baby Dolls, multiple times, each. Look, I have a prescription!"
Then prepare to take a direct shot to your man parts region.
I guess they'll get us all homogenized to someone else's standards sooner or later. But it's gonna be a pretty boring world to live in when they do.
12:39, Projecting much. You libs are all the same, love to see someone screw up if it confirms the fallacy of your character. You are all impulse driven and it burns you up to know there are people out there that would rather do the right thing.
So, I guess a three way was not on the table?

Dr. Loven? That's too easy.
Did anyone else notice that both them women are butt-ugly?
Hell, he don't need a marriage counselor. He needs an optometrist
Obama will still be blamed by the righties for Texas republican morality laws...
He went from a bigfoot monster to a chupacabra.
Oooooowee- tell me whatupwiththat?
The counselor lady got probation.
You should read more about her--she fooled around with more clients than just this one couple. She even "had sex" with female clients, however that works.
