I don't understand how articles in favor of teachers carrying are being frowned upon.

Do you think the "gun-free" school zones would be less of a Target if the sickos knew the teachers and administrators could stop the massacre before it starts?

Time to move on to the next story

How can anyone take a picture like this? Horrible. The photographer should be ashamed and embarrassed. I'd love to find out the name, follow their lives, and show up with a camera and zoom lens and take a bunch of unwelcome pictures the first time one of their loved ones dies and they are at a funeral. I'll just show up, say "it's my job" and start snapping.

The anti gun nuts are creaming their jeans.

I can't look at these kinds of pictures of that massive tragedy. As an ex teacher, I can't handle thinking about what they went through. Tears flow for them. More protection in our schools is a definite must! Parents everywhere should demand it!

If school staff were allowed to be armed...the first incident would be a teacher shooting another teacher or worse their own students...they are human as any other mentally ill person...think about it.

9:25 must be nuts! A person or persons who can defend themselves or those they love are worlds safer than those who can not. Check the records. Where guns are allowed by licensed and trained people crime against persons always goes down.

pretty sure that 'free speech' killed a nurse in england a couple weeks ago.
should we ban free speech?
isnt there an amendment fer that?

If some of these people just knew the teachers and staff were or could be armed they would think twice about their actions. Our schools are too easy to get to. You can walk right in most of them around here. There is very few people who might stop you and they dont have the force to really stop someone like that. Im just sick about this whole thing. We have to find something that will work!!!

How about assessing wrongful death awards from armament manufacturers to victims' estates when the perpetrators do not survive to be brought to justice? Perhaps we should start a petition https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/create so that the ATF can affect the bottom line of those profitable companies?

We ought to all be surgically implanted with chips at birth that are tied to the portions of the brain that control rage. It would looped to a tiny explosive charge implanted near the carotid artery. When a person gets mad enough to kill the charge goes off.

Problem solved.

Both sides of the gun control issues have for years been talking past the other side because they knew nothing was going to be done.

It’s a new day and it’s time for rational discussion from both sides.

The causes of these mass murders have very few common links so there is no one change would have avoided them all – we need a frank open exchange that produces a wide range of changes.

No rational person would think we should eliminate all guns and no rational person would think we should arm everyone.

What is the point of this useless petition, the armament manufacturers must be targeted!

She needs to man up and get a life.

Hold the manufacturers responsible?
Some of you people really are stupid.
The guns worked as designed.
They don't aim themselves.
