Semi automatic weapons are ideal for rapidly shooting your target more than once while retaining the accuracy that is usually lost with a fully automatic weapon.
Costas is nothing but an antigun puke who should keep his stupid opinions to himself during a nationally broadcast football game. Based on his theory, then we should ban all FORKS because they made Rosie ODonnell fat and unhealthy!
At least he used the term "semi". Most jackass reporters are so ignorant they refer to every non-revolver, auto-loading weapon as an "automatic", not realizing that term belongs only to weapons that fire multiple times with ONE press of the trigger.
A little gun control discussion is fine. It's all about where we draw the line on the 2nd Amendment.
Almost all of us would agree that musket loaded weapons (as existed when the Constitution was written) in the hands of a law abiding citizen are Acceptable and that thermonuclear warheads in the hands of a law abiding citizen are Not Acceptable.
Drawing the line between those two is what's worthy of discussion. What do we do with rifles? handguns? semi-automatics? automatics? armor-piercing bullets? dynamite? bazookas? all-plastic/ceramic guns?
The concept of the 2nd Amendment allowing any and all weapons is just as preposterous as the concept of the US banning all weapons.
If Bob wants to draw the line at semi-automatics, that's his opinion. He's a citizen, with every right to that opinion. You, as a citizen, have every right to yours.
BTW, he's not an "idiot" just because he disagrees with you.
I Think Football is a semi- dangerous sport. People get hurt and injured and sometimes killed playing it. Nothing personal, but I would like to start an anti-football campaign. Or better yet, you stay out of gun topics and I'll stay out of football topics. Ya stupid chit!
Hank Jr. expresses right wing opinions and is no longer associated with televised football. How do you expect the "unbiased media" to land on this one?
Even a tough ass fotball player won't get off more than one shot to the head semi or a revolver,he he.Had a man in Bport once that shot himself twice with a single shot. So what i'm saying it don't make much difference what one uses.
Semi-automatic handgun still requires the pull of the trigger to fire. So does a revolver. What the hell's the difference? He meant assault rifle but he obviously doesn't know shit about weapons and has never owned one.

Who gives a F'n F... what Bob Costas cares about and why would you give him a nano second of bandwidth to post anything he says?
WTF Barry why?
Bob Costas is an idiot.

My deer rifle is semi-automatic

Criminals have, in some cases, automatic weapons, therefore, we need to have at least semi-autos to defend our selves.
I don't understand all this talk about guns. Murder is not legal.. how is that working out?
idiot

I'll bet $100 he's a liberal weenie.
Dear Bob,
I Think Football is a semi- dangerous sport. People get hurt and injured and sometimes killed playing it. Nothing personal, but I would like to start an anti-football campaign. Or better yet, you stay out of gun topics and I'll stay out of football topics. Ya stupid chit!
D.F. Ted Nugent
He's stupid. Quit quoting him.
"thermonuclear warheads in the hands of a law abiding citizen are Not Acceptable."
I have no problem with a law abiding citizen owning a nuclear weapon.
You gotta have that semi-automatic when you are spot-lighting that herd of deer!
"Why do you need a semi-automatic weapon? What possible use is there for a citizen to have a semi-automatic weapon?"
To kill things and shoot stuff up or somethin' I spose.
What's this? Another lefty misinformed about reality?

Costas's Dictionary
Semi-automatic
Adj.
1) Sort of automatic, but not really 2) a smaller automatic
3) not semi-manual
"Tom could not decide if he should use his semi-automatic or pump action shot gun to go hunting."
Bob got his semi-autos and assault rifles mixed up.
Now, let me write some more lyrics to my new song, "Cross Hairs".
Double Fake Uncle Ted Nugent
I'm kinda curious about how Kasandra Perkins would still be alive if Jovan Belcher had only had a single-shot shotgun.
Or an OJ-type knife.
Or big-ass football-trained muscles.
Even a tough ass fotball player won't get off more than one shot to the head semi or a revolver,he he.Had a man in Bport once that shot himself twice with a single shot. So what i'm saying it don't make much difference what one uses.
On the way to CDC#2 (the trial got postponed) this morning, saw a Kia Soul on the interstate with a "Ted Nugent for President" sticker.
I'll go along with that.
