Good deal. Santa comes early.

Now the family will sue WCSO. Way to go. Cost us even more.

This is another tragedy that will soon be forgotten but a tragedy nevertheless. Most here will celebrate this incident and blame it on bad life choices. Good choices must be learned, that is what civilization is, the building of a society that teaches it's children the proper choices in life. The only choices we make without teaching are food, procreate, kill anyone interfering with my food or gene pool. When this man died it was a failure on the part of our society, a failure for all of us.

it is a sad thing that this guy got to choose his own way to go since he never gave that choice to his victim. if the family sues the wcso then so be it it will show just how trashy they are and i would suggest that the mcnortons look into filing suit against the family of mr malone if they sue the wcso with the winnings if any going towards helping the children who are left behind cope with this

Well, I wonder if he actually is the one who took his life. Thought there were no sheets in soletary confinement.

If you have any pull at all, please have the Messenger turn off the comments on their fb page...people are rediculously disrespecting the dead...this is a very sad thing to happen to both families.

I'm all for justice and the guy probably deserved to die. But, what does this say about the sheriff's department? Sounds like someone's asleep at the wheel at the animal shelter and now the jail. Who can you protect if you can't protect an inmate from himself in the jail cell? Unless they really didn't care whether he off'd himself or helped him out. In that case cheers!

Maybe Bobby told him everything you eat in jail might not taste good.Lawsuit will go nowhere. They should give all admitted scum like him a ten feet of rope of rope.

Sad that two families have so much healing to do.

5:34, WOW! 1 comment was posted. And it wasn't out of line at all. I wouldn't feel too much pity on a confessed killer for taking his own life and saving EVERYONE'S tax dollars. He confessed to the crime. Nobody was cheated here but the executioner.

This whole thing doesn't pass the smell test to me. Not that I have experienced a jail cell, but do they now let you have cell phones or is there a phone in your cell? especially in solidary confinement. Just seems odd to me.

This ain't the first "suicide" at Wise County jail.

6:48 nailed it.

1:01pm, and let's hope it's not the last!! Saving tax payer dollars!

See, my post is just as stupid as yours!!! Quit talking crap.

They can't have a jailer to sit with every person. That he took his own life was his choice.Shame we don't know where he is now. Some would say he killed one peson but Christians wuold count two.He didn't kill himself out of shame; it was to not spend the rest of his life in the pen.

I'm wondering about that too, 10:16. Solitary confinement seems to be pretty loose in that jail. Why aren't there cameras in each cell, especially cells of those who might be suicidal?

David Malone stated he saw Satan, the grim reaper. Seems to me Satan had hold of him and called him "home!" Hell is real, people! Live right so Satan doesn't appear in your life!

Upon being booked into jail everyone should be offered a complimentary suicide kit

Old White Guy,

Thank you for showing humanity and recognizing the failure of humanity in this instance.
